Gilded Fairytales: Enchanting Pop-Up Classics
Enchanting Pop-Up Classics

Introduction
Templar Books, an imprint of Bonnier Books UK, is renowned for its innovative and beautifully designed children’s books. Their ‘Enchanting Pop-Up Classics’ series (also known as ‘Gilded Fairytales’) series reimagines classic fairy tales with six intricate pop-up illustrations. Each pop-up design features a different illustrator, and each of the stories is engagingly retold for a young audience by different authors. The first title released in 2021 was Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen. The titles can be a little difficult to track down outside of the UK as they don’t seem to have an external distributor yet, but Blackwells is a good bet for international customers.
I love this series and have featured many entries in my ‘best of the year’ videos – I’ll link to the relevant sections below. They make enchanting keepsakes for readers of all ages.
