Bibliophile Advent Calendars

We usually do home-made advent calendars at my place (with vouchers for activities like “bake cookies for friends” and “drive around the Christmas lights”), but it does mean that I don't tend to get an advent calendar for myself.

So when I saw the fabulous Bibliophile advent calendar I was super excited – it's a perfect collection of joyful activities and reflections for a booklover like me – and, I suspect, many of you who've clicked on this article. I thought I'd do a hands-on review of this one so you can see the details up close and see if it warrants a spot in your seasonal keepsakes. I also included a bonus review of another type cute advent book that you have to unseal chapter by chapter if you stay to the end of the video!

And I've also included a curated list of other adult literary calendars down below that are for or about books – some celebrate reading itself, others are inspired by beloved authors and stories. And last but not least, a couple of mini-book calendars if you need something for the kids.
