What’s going to be the next “super collectible” pop-up book?

Pop-up books are getting increasingly expensive these days, so when you can save a few dollars by preordering (and support the authors and artists at the same time) it just makes sense! So to help you find the latest and greatest at the best possible price, this list includes details of the most beautiful pop-up book and paper engineering pre-orders on my radar. I’ve included those upcoming titles I think will be the most collectible, beautiful, and/or likely to be future prize winners.

This year I’m looking forward to a Moomin pop-up adaptation and a new edition of Pinocchio. I’ve been loving the gilded fairy tales series, and so I have high hopes for their latest title, Sleeping Beauty. And fingers crossed this will be the year the long-promised Gruffalo is finally published (it’s been pushed back for ages)!
