Introduction
What’s going to be the next collectible pop-up book?
Pop-up books are getting increasingly expensive these days, so when you can save a few dollars by preordering (and support the authors and artists at the same time) it just makes sense! So to help you find the latest and greatest at the best possible price, this list includes details of the most beautiful pop-up book and paper engineering pre-orders on my radar. I’ve included those titles I think will be the most collectible, beautiful, and/or likely to be future prize winners – first printings of popular titles occasionally have extra features that are not included in later printings (if it even gets reprinted), so please do check out the books that interest you!

Dungeons & Dragons: The Ultimate Pop-Up Book

Includes five detailed pop-up spreads, with text written by Dungeons & Dragons Young Adventurer’s Guide Series authors Jim Zub and Stacy King in conjunction with paper engineering wizard Matthew Reinhart, and featuring dozens of characters and locations rendered by Brazilian artist Claudio Pozas (whose work can also be seen in several D&D 5E books). With the new Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves film coming out in March (not to mention the surge of interest in the game from Stranger Things fans), first printings of this title are likely to disappear quickly.
