An illustrated list of books with uniquely painted, stencilled and sprayed page edges

This page includes an illustrated list of books I’ve found with interesting fore-edge treatments, including unique designs on sprayed edges, painted edges and decorative stencilled edges. I started keeping track actively around about 2017, but have been backfilling earlier years as I come across them. Many of the books are out of print, or are only available through subscription book clubs, but if you’re a collector, it’s fun to know what is out there so you can keep an eye out for them 🙂

I do include up-coming preorders and publicly available special editions in the list as well though, so please bookmark this page or subscribe if you’re interesting in knowing what’s coming up!

Note that because the page was getting too image-heavy to load, sprayed edges books from 2018 and earlier are available on a separate page.
