About the Vintage Collector's Classics
This is a series of collectible classic novels published in the UK by Penguin's Vintage Classics imprint, with the first tranche released in March 2025 consisting of six ‘Romantic' titles and six ‘Gothic' titles. US editions were added starting from September 2025 under Penguin's DK imprint.
The series design is by Yeti Lambregts and Amelia Tolley from Vintage, and the marbling art on the endpapers and sprayed edges is by Jemma Lewis. Illustrators Icinori, Micaela Alcaino, Romy Blümel, Sarah Gordon and Whooli Chen were commissioned for the covers.
These are lovely gift editions that feature foiled covers, marbled endpapers, sprayed edges, quality paper and bound-in silk ribbon bookmarks. The covers are riot of bold colour and curve, swirling with free-flowing organic designs, with some feeling more like psychedelic pop art poster than your typical literary classic packaging. UK editions (20.7 x 13.9 cm) are slightly taller and wider than the US editions (5-1/16 x 7-13/16 in or 19.8 x 12.9 cm).
