The Six of Crows Duology
Today’s short video is a quick review of the collector’s edition of Leigh Bardugo’s Crooked Kingdom, the conclusion of the Six of Crows duology, and also includes a flip through of the first volume at the end of the video.
The collector’s editions for this series are really beautifully designed books. The Crooked Kingdom has an intricate gold foiled design on the cover and spine featuring lots of different iconography from the book as well as black sprayed page edges, and Six of Crows has red foil and page edges. Both front and back endpapers feature different map designs, and an introductory letter from the author is included.
The chapter headings have different decorative design depending on the focus character, and there are page number designs as well. The end of Crooked Kingdom book has several pages of gorgeous Zodiac character art by Bonnie McAllister, also known as Monolime, and Six of Crows has character art by Kevin Wada.
